What is Krillion Unlimited? ↓

The answer everyone knows floats. The answer nobody types sinks.

Why this exists

One dive a day is a habit. Seven dives an hour is a game.

Daily trivia is built to bring you back tomorrow. That is a retention loop, not a game design. Krillion Unlimited keeps the rarity scoring and removes the wait: finish a dive, start the next one.

The daily version

One round, then a wall.

  • One dive per day
  • A reset clock between you and the next round
  • The same famous answers at the top of every board
  • Progress tied to an account

Krillion Unlimited

As many rounds as you want.

  • Unlimited dives, no cooldown
  • No account, no download, no cap
  • 300 prompts and 4896 accepted answers
  • A 100 point answer on every prompt

The game

What is Krillion Unlimited?

It is a rare answer trivia game. Each dive deals seven open prompts, from “Name a landlocked country” to “Name a film directed by Steven Spielberg.” You get one typed answer per prompt and 25 seconds to find it. The bank already knows which of its accepted answers players give most often, and your answer is graded against that spread.

The name is the product. There is no once a day gate and no paywall in front of the second round, so the loop is simple: dive, read your depth, decide whether to go again. A full dive takes about three minutes. The bank holds 300 prompts and 4896 accepted answers across 8 categories, and every prompt carries at least one answer worth 100 points.

The name

Why is it called Krillion?

A krill is a small shrimp-like animal, about the length of your little finger, and it lives at every depth of the ocean. Krill swarm in the bright water near the surface, and they also drift down into the cold dark, hundreds of metres below it. Something that small has no business being that deep. It goes anyway.

The game borrows that shape. Every dive starts in the Sunlit Shallows, where the obvious answers float in a crowd, and a perfect run sinks all the way to the trench floor. The name also stretches krill toward trillion: a 100 point answer is what players call a one in a krillion answer.

Small, everywhere, and deeper than it looks. The name is the whole design.

Why it works

Three reasons the loop holds.

01

Keep diving

Finish the seventh prompt and the next dive is one click away. There is no reset clock to wait for and no limit to plan around.

02

Score the answer, not the clock

A 100 point answer is worth ten Plankton answers. Typing fast changes nothing. Thinking sideways changes everything.

03

Depth you can see

Points become metres, and nine ocean zones turn a number into a descent from the sunlit surface to the 7,000 m trench floor.

How a dive runs

Seven prompts. Three minutes. One number.

1

Pick a clock

Classic gives each prompt 25 seconds. Zen removes the clock and keeps the scoring.

2

Answer seven prompts

Type one answer per prompt. The bank matches aliases, then grades rarity.

3

Read your depth

Your points become metres. Best depth and average stay in your browser.

The bank

A bank built to go deep.

Every prompt is written by hand and every accepted answer is graded by hand. The long tail is the point: each prompt carries at least one answer worth 100 points, so a perfect dive is always possible.

The skill

The first answer is a trap.

The prompt lands and your brain serves an answer before you finish reading it. That speed feels like knowledge. Mostly it is rehearsal. The famous answer is famous because it has been said most often, so it sits closest to the surface of memory.

Every other player gets the same delivery in the same first seconds. Rarity is graded against the whole room, and the room’s first instinct is your first instinct. Type it and you get a correct answer and the smallest score on the board.

The better answers sit one layer down. Say the obvious answer, then bin it. Bin the clever one too: the smart alternative is usually the Too Clever tier. Change the angle, not the effort. Reach for a smaller example, an older one, a regional one.

The gap is not information. It is the habit of looking one layer below the first answer.

Questions

Answers before you dive.

What is Krillion Unlimited?

A free rare answer trivia game. Each dive deals seven open prompts, takes one typed answer per prompt, and grades the answer by how uncommon it is. Crowded answers stay near the surface. Rare correct answers sink toward 7,000 metres.

Is Krillion Unlimited free?

Yes. Every dive, mode and pack is free. There is no paywall, no premium tier and no ad that interrupts a dive.

Is there a daily limit?

No. Start the next dive the moment the results appear. There is no daily challenge to wait for and no reset clock. The only limit is how long you want to keep typing.

Is this the official Krillion game?

No. This is an independent, fan made game with its own prompt bank, its own hand graded answers and its own artwork. It is not affiliated with krillion.io, which runs the official game.

Does it work on a phone or a Chromebook?

Yes. It runs in the browser with nothing to download, so it plays on phones, tablets, school Chromebooks and desktop computers. The interface is built mobile first.

Do I need an account?

No. Your best depth, average and dive count are stored in your browser and never leave the device. Clearing site data resets them.

Why was my correct answer rejected?

The bank accepts a fixed list of answers and aliases per prompt. A correct answer can miss if it uses an unfamiliar name or a valid answer we have not graded yet. The results screen marks the miss, and the contact page takes the suggestion.

How is depth calculated?

Each accepted answer sits in one of six tiers worth 10, 15, 30, 60, 85 or 100 points. One point is ten metres, so a perfect dive is 700 points and 7,000 metres. Speed never changes the score.

What is Zen mode?

Zen removes the countdown and keeps every point value. It is for players who want to think, or who are playing somewhere a timer is unwelcome.

The next dive is free.

Seven prompts are waiting. No signup, no download, no daily cap. Start shallow; the trench is open.
